I was really looking forward to watching TV tonight as Survivor was on along with AEW Dynamite, and then I realized that it was Tuesday, not Wednesday. Such is life right now. You forget what day it is. I watch way too much of CBC Newsworld, but one thing caught my eye. The last story on The National was about how people are staying together while maintaining social distancing. Everything from people on condo balconies congregating, to acts of kindness. One lady was singing to her neighborhood from her porch. If I did that I'd attract all the stray cats in Waterdown and would ensure everyone would maintain appropriate social distancing.
Today's outdoor activity was a nice 5 km run after an hour of helping my daughter "skate" with rollers attached to her skates. You need to find creative ways to entertain a near nine year old who is used to a pretty wide social circle, has seen her hockey season come to a screeching halt, and is an active girl all the time. Getting outside for some fresh air is my saving grace as I had little to no energy until then.
I guess even Trudeau couldn't resist being a politician today as he wanted sweeping tax and spend until the end of 2021 as a part of the $82B bailout package. Sorry Justin, not a good move and he called out by the opposition and now the bailout package did not pass through Parliament as easy as it should and is now being rewritten. As for the idiot south of the border, he continues to be the worst person to lead a crisis. Give me Bush jr/sr, or Reagan. Heck I'll take the reanimated corpse of Richard Nixon at this point. Today he deemed that Easter would be a good time to get things back to normal because he's itching to kick start the economy. I complain about him every day because he does something stupid every day.
Last thought today. A survey said that 1/5 people in Canada are not taking the COVID-19 Pandemic seriously. In all likelihood these are people who have no idea what a pandemic is, recklessly went on vacation when told not to, and need have their head maintain social distancing from their ass.
